FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Got questions before you book? Here are the most common things our adventurers ask us.

Still have questions?

Is it safe to get close to the crocodiles?

Absolutely. Your safety is our #1 priority. Our premium boats are designed specifically for crocodile safaris with high sides and stable decks. Our guides have over 10 years of experience navigating the Nilwala river.

What is the best time to see crocodiles?

The best sightings are usually early morning (7AM-9AM) or late afternoon (4PM-6PM) when crocodiles come out to sunbathe on the banks. Sunset tours offer magical lighting for photography.

Do you provide life jackets?

Yes, safety is mandatory. We provide high-quality life jackets for all passengers, including specialized sizes for children, which must be worn throughout the entire safari.

Can I bring my camera equipment?

Absolutely! Our boats are very stable and perfect for photography. We suggest bringing a lens with good zoom (200mm+) to capture detailed shots of the crocodiles and birds.
